the one with hakikat rezeki

i had a rather depth discussion on something rather emotional (for me at least) with one of my officer just now. .i needed to get some things of my head so thought why not i blog something..
since it’s ramadhan, then maybe i do a lil bit of tazkirah lah here..i am not good at it but at least if i share this with everyone who happen to check out my blob then i guess it’s good lah.. bulan ramadhan nie elok la kita buat amal lebih sikit..so here goes;
a young man (let’s name him Din) was walking along a road when he happened to passed a masjid and an ustaz was at the time giving ceramah..he was not actually someone who visited masjid to listen to ceramah regularly but he happened to passed the place so he decided to stop for awhile and listened what the ceramah was about. it happened to be about hakikat rezeki..he overheard the ustaz saying that rezeki is like death, you can run and hide wherever whenever you want but it will still ‘run after you’.. the man was in deep thoughts and as he moved away from the masjid, and he told himself that he needed to put this statement to a test.So…
he decided to leave the village and went into the jungle, where people are most likely wouldnt venture into. To him, foods and drinks are what we define as rezeki so, he says, if he is to stay deep in the jungle with no food and water to survive, how can the ‘rezeki’ come to him?i mean, who would go into the jungle just to find you and give you food and drink for free..right?so he says..
and he waits..no food came hehe..
after a while, he heard a conversation and as he looked down, he saw two men with a few goats coming towards him..as he listened, he came to understanding that both men had stolen the goats from his fellow villagers and had fled and decided to split up, dividing the goats among them. din heard in astonishment but decided to keep quiet. he listened some more.. both men decided to rest for awhile before splitting up and decided to roast one of the goat to fill up their empty stomach…
dijadikan cerita, as they where about to slice the mutton and eat, they heard a commotion not far and din saw the villagers coming towards them..both thieves ran as fast as they can, leaving the goats(both alive and roasted hehe) behind..the villagers scouted around and see no men. they saw the roasted mutton and one villager suggested they eat it rather than putting it to waste, but another obejcted, saying there might be poison in it. one of the villager who was still looking around, hoping to find the thieves happened to look up and saw Din!! he shouted and asked Din to come down, thinking Din was the culprit.
Din, trembling and speechless, went down the tree and before he could say anything, one of the villager shove a piece of the roasted meat into his mouth (the plan was to see if the meat has poison or not) and trying to avoid ‘rezeki’, Din tried hard not to open his mouth..a few seconds passed and finally the villager managed to shove the mutton into Din’s mouth..at that moment, Din couldnt help himself and laughed so loud it startled all the birds, rabbits and deers (for effects la hehehehe) in the jungle.
he explained that he was not the thief and he explained from A to Z what he was doing up on the tall tree deep in the jungle and WHY he was refusing the mutton from being put into his mouth..
so y’all,if DIn couldnt run away from his rezeki of daging kambing panggang koboi (hehe), so do we .. but remember, if even if we knew that rezeki would eventually come our way (en izat reminded me that how soon the rezeki comes to us is based on how good our relationship is with Allah swt), that is NOT an excuse for us not to do anything and just wait for the rezeki to fall into our lap (and our mouth hehe)..
till then..renung²kan.. selamat beramal~
cheers~
